Description

A beautiful, café-style decorated coffee recipe that brings the indulgence of barista-quality beverages into your home.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 shot or 2 oz freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • 1/2 cup whole milk or milk alternative
  • 12 tsp sugar or flavored syrup (optional)
  • Cocoa powder, cinnamon, or nutmeg (for garnish)
  • Chocolate syrup, caramel drizzle, or stencil templates (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew 1 shot of espresso or 2 oz of very strong coffee using your preferred method.
  2. Heat 1/2 cup of milk and froth until light and foamy.
  3. If desired, add sugar or syrup to the hot coffee and stir to dissolve.
  4. Pour the hot espresso into a cup, then slowly pour the frothed milk on top, spooning the foam to create layers.
  5. Dust with cocoa powder, cinnamon, or nutmeg, or drizzle chocolate or caramel for decoration.

Notes

Use whole milk for best frothing results. For non-dairy options, look for ‘barista blend’ varieties for better foam retention.
